Happily married to my High School sweetheart, over 50 years. 40 years Sr international Training executive for multiple Fortune top 10 companies. 2-time cancer survivor and semi retired to look after the family farm & rescue old Ridgies.... I have been a ridgeline convert & addict since my first new one off the lot in Fall of 2006. After 40 years in North Georgia, I now live in Indiana (Home of All manner of automotive destroying Salted Highways) now, so anytime I'm visiting my home in Georgia I always try to find a solid maltreated Ridgeline & bring it home to the farm. I clean & service, sand and paint & tweak and swap parts until its in good enough shape for my Kids to drive.... Then I put it in the front yard for sale. I'm not body guy, nor a mechanic, but I love the challenge of making the old Gen 1s serviceable and giving them a new life.. It gives me something to do! I have developed a good reputation ever since I retired and get lots of questions.. I Love to teach and share.. scrounge for parts and try to give another one a second chance. As of Christmas 2024 I have resurrected and restored 12 Gen 1 Ridgies to Daily driver status & shared the Gospel of what great trucks these are! My son Installs Lamborghini Vertical doors on anything that they say cant be done!! He drives an 08 Ridgeline, a DelSol and a couple of CRZ's .. so his Honda Credentials are solid! My Daughter drives a White 08 that she and I literally bought so it wouldn't go to the crusher & resurrected it... She chose the Skull Decal.. I kind of like it!
